School kids are in for a chance to hop aboard the iconic Waverley steamer which sets sail this Summer.
Pupils are being tasked with making a replica of the 75-year-old steamer from their household items to win this 'unforgettable' trip.

Instead of walking the plank, winners will sail down the famous River Clyde, viewing landmarks such as the restored Victorian sailing ship Glenlee and the historic Dumbarton Castle sitting on the volcanic Dumbarton Rock.
They will also sail under the Erskine bridge, before passing the town of Port Glasgow to arrive in Greenock for some fin-tastic views.
Onboard Waverley, pupils will be able to view the ships powerful steam engine, see the massive paddle wheels turn and meet the Waverley’s Captain.
At the end of the journey, pupils will also be able to take home an exclusive Waverley gift from the on-board shop.

The closing date for entries will be April 28, with provisions to set sail in May.
The Glasgow Times will get in touch with the winning school to arrange coach travel to and from the school.
