Superheroes are set to land at Glasgow Fort for an action-packed summer.
Families will have a chance to meet their favourite superheroes for free at the East End shopping centre as part of an exciting funfair.
A whole range of heroes like Spiderman, Batman, Wonder Woman and the Hulk will be waiting to greet youngsters as part of six pop-up sessions running through July.
The events start on Thursday, July 13 from 11am until 4pm, taking place outside of Argos.
There is no need to book in advance, but organisers advise arriving early to avoid disappointment.
There will also be a small summer funfair for the whole family to enjoy with favourites like the Ferris wheel and carousel. Trampolines and summer games like giant Connect 4 and hoopla will be set up and stalls will be selling cold treats like slushies and snow cones.
Phil Goodman, centre director at Glasgow Fort, said: “With a number of superhero films premiering in cinemas this summer, we’re excited to bring some of the nation’s favourite characters to the centre for families to meet and get that all-important selfie.
“We’re always looking for new and different activities for our visitors to enjoy and we’re looking forward to seeing families making the most of the summer fun during the school holidays.”
Superhero meet and greet dates include:
- Thursday 13th July
- Friday 14th July
- Saturday 15th July
- Thursday 20th July
- Friday 21st July
- Saturday 22nd July
Visitors to Glasgow Fort will also have the chance to win a £100 Smyths voucher. To enter, simply take a selfie at the superhero backdrop opposite Argos and share the picture on Instagram using ‘#SuperSumerGF’, tagging @GlasgowFort.
