A ferret is looking to find his forever home this year to make his 'Christmas wish come true'.

The Scottish SPCA has been taking care of Scoot at their Dunbartonshire and West Scotland Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre (based in Milton) for 504 days.

Now, the charity are looking for a new home for the playful and happy ferret, who has been described as a 'wonderful and energetic boy who is ready to have all the attention that he wants and deserves.'

Glasgow Times:

Ally McEwan, assistant centre manager, said: “Scoot is a very happy ferret who is ready to find a home to call his own.

“He is inquisitive and playful and loves to jump around playing and chasing things.

“Scoot loves playing with his toys and running in and out of his tunnels. He also enjoys cavorting in the play pit and, at the end of the night, he loves nothing more than snuggling in his bed.

“Scoot was not very well-handled when he came to us but is coming on leaps and bounds! He is looking for an owner who can continue this training.

“He might also be able to join a group of ferrets after a successful introduction and as long as his new owner has the knowledge to introduce them properly.”
