Lewis Capaldi has revealed he will release never-before-heard music on New Year's Day.

The Glasgow-born singer-songwriter announced to his fans that he will unveil five unreleased tracks as part of an extended version of his sophomore album Broken by Desire to be Heavenly Sent, which was released earlier this year.

It comes after Lewis, who suffers from Tourette's, made the difficult decision to take a break from music and touring after struggling through his Glastonbury set in June.

But the 27-year-old revealed he is coping well since taking time off and has noticed a 'marked improvement' in himself.

He thanked fans who wished him well and supported him throughout his decision to step away from the limelight and focus on his health.

Fans can listen to Broken by Desire to be Heavenly Sent (Extended Version) with five new songs from midnight.

We previously reported that Lewis was crowned the most-viewed UK artist on TikTok in 2023.

He came out ahead of Unholy singer Sam Smith, London-born rapper Central Cee and Anne-Marie, with Ed Sheeran dropping two spaces from last year to fifth on the TikTok list.
