A Glasgow independent shop is sadly closing after just over a year in business.
The Study Gifts & Interiors on Kilmarnock Road announced it is launching a 'closing down' sale as they prepare to say goodbye to the Shawlands community.
They thanked customers for all their support since they first opened in December 2022 and urged people to visit the store as 'everything must go'.
A statement read: "The Study Gifts & Interiors is closing. Since opening the shop in Shawlands in December 2022, I have given my all to bring a new vibe to Kilmarnock Road with an ever-changing selection of cool products.
"It has been an amazing journey but sadly one that is coming to an end.
"I want to extend a big THANK YOU to everyone who has visited, browsed, and shopped at The Study. And special thanks to my amazing family and friends for their unwavering and constant love and support.
"The closing down sale starts today- please help me go out with a bang by dropping in and picking up some gorgeous items at great prices. Everything must go!"
Since the news broke on Thursday morning, one customer branded the closure 'so sad'.
