AN AMERICAN alternative rock band will host a concert in Glasgow this year - and it will feature special guests.
Yellowcard will host a gig at the city's O2 Academy on Tuesday, November 12.
The group - which is made up of Ryan Key (vocals, guitar), Sean Mackin (violin), Ryan Mendez (guitar), Josh Portman (bass) and Jimmy Brunkvist (guesting on drums) - will embark on a UK and Europe tour following their tour in the US last year.
They are known for their hits including Ocean Avenue, Only One, Lights and Sound and many more.
The band formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1997 and found mainstream success in 2003 and their fourth album, Ocean Avenue, went platinum.
The tour will celebrate 20 plus years of their breakthrough album.
During the shows, Story of the Year and This Wild Life will support Yellowcard.
Ryan Key said: “We know that our fans in Europe and the UK have been waiting for this announcement for a long time.
“We are so stoked to announce that not only are we coming to play shows in November, but we are also bringing the line-up from our 20 years of Ocean Avenue tour in the US last summer!
"Our good friends in Story of the Year and This Wild Life will be joining us for the tour.
"These are our first headlining shows in Europe since 2016 so don’t miss out!”
Tickets for the event will go on sale from Friday, April 19, at 10am.
