A well-known food outlet is set to open a new store in Glasgow's Silverburn Shopping Centre.

Costa Coffee has announced it is relocating to a new store in the shopping centre this week.

The cafe will move into a 'brand-new, spacious unit' in the facility which is set to open on Thursday, April 25.

The new venue will be located in Unit 15E - and it promises to 'enhance the shopping experience' in the centre.

According to the company, the move to the new unit in the facility signifies its commitment to providing a welcoming environment for coffee lovers.

The new location will feature a large and modern indoor seating area as well as outdoor benches.

The existing Costa Coffee store in the centre - which is a kiosk - will close its doors on Wednesday, April 24.

The team of 20 will all then move into the new store - with an additional four team members being hired for the new venue.

The store will be open from 7.30am until 8pm Monday to Friday, and between 8am and 7pm on Saturday and Sunday's.
