Lisa, partner of Celtic midfielder Kris Commons, joined X Factor finalist Nicholas McDonald as they prepared to find top talent for the glamorous gig.

The pair are among the judges to decide who will take to the stage at the star- studded night with ex-striker John at Glasgow Thistle Hotel on October 18.

The winner will be on the same bill as Nicholas, boyband Rewind, and Westlife heart-throb Brian McFadden.

The ball will raise funds for cancer charity, the John Hartson Foundation, set up five years ago after his life-threatening battle with the disease.

Lisa said: "It's an honour to be asked to be one of the judges as John is such an inspiring man. Kris and I can't wait for the ball. We want to help make it really special."
