SEVERAL people have been detained in an ongoing police operation targeting serious and organised crime.
Armed officers attended in French Street in Renfrew, near Glasgow, yesterday.
Police Scotland said there was no risk to public safety but would not say why they were being held.
A spokeswoman said: "It would be inappropriate to comment any further at this time."
