SHOPPERS in the West End were urged to sign up a charity walk.
And Scottish piper Craig 'Haggis' MacFarlane entertained them to promote April 21's Hampden Kiltwalk.
The event – which sees participants walk either 26 miles, 13 miles or 10km – raises money for Scottish children's charities including The Children's Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS) which provides hospice services to sick children, and is organised by the Tartan Army Children's Charity.
The Kiltwalk route stretches from Hampden Park to Loch Lomond, The Half Kilt is from Bowling Marina to Loch Lomond and the Wee Kilt is 10km around Balloch Castle Country Park.
Craig piped the full length of the 26-mile Kiltwalk last year and will be taking on the Kilimanjaro Challenge in October.
Jon Heggie, CHAS outdoor events manager, said: "The Kiltwalk is a great party atmosphere, sign up and you'll not only be guaranteed a great day out but you'll also be raising money for a number of fantastic charities including CHAS, helping Scottish children with life-shortening conditions."
If you would like to support CHAS, contact the Glasgow office on 0141 779 6180 or go to www.chas.org.uk.
