CYCLISTS are gearing up for the Yorkhill Cycle - with some encouragement from sporting hero Graeme Obree.
Graeme was joined by Commonwealth silver medalist Jenny Davis and Yorkhill Children's Charity Young Ambassador Jenny Cook to launch the event.
The challenge will see fund raisers take part in the 75-mile sponsored event from Glasgow to Glen Douglas, near Loch Lomond, and back.
It takes place on Saturday, March 22, to raise vital cash for Glasgow's sick kids hospital.
The route will take cyclists past Balloch and Loch Lomond over some challenging hill climbs and descents through the rolling hills of Glen Fruin and through Garelochhead to Glen Douglas.
