A POPULAR pub chain is preparing to launch in Glasgow.
The Slug and Lettuce, which is creating 30 jobs in the city, will open its doors on Monday, April 20 in St Vincent Street.
It will take over the unit formerly occupied by the Living Room, which closed on March 23.
Bar bosses said a six figure sum had been invested to upgrade the unit.
The bar will offer half price cocktails over the weekend and deals on wine and prosecco midweek.
The team will be headed up by Tracey McAdam, who has 10 years experience in general management across Glasgow city centre venues.
She said: "We are already familiar with the clientele in the area, so we look forward to expanding their horizons with the launch of this new Slug and Lettuce.
"Whenever we open a new site, we enjoy the opportunity to entice new customers with our unique cocktails and fun party atmosphere, so Glasgow should be the perfect fit."
