The SNP have selected the first three candidates to stand in Glasgow in May.
Alison Thewliss, current councillor for Calton is to attempt to unseat Anas Sarwar in Glasgow Central.
Patrick Grady will contest Glasgow North, held by Ann McKechin and Carol Monaghan has been chosen to take on John Robertson in Glasgow North West.
The other four are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
