SUPERMARKET chain SPAR has opened two new stores in Glasgow.
The first new store, in the former Co-op site in Sauchiehall Street, has created eight new jobs.
It comes as SPAR opened a second new shop in Maryhill Road, following the renovation of the Thistle pub at George's Cross.
The store will be run by Iqbal Sadiq, who has more than 20 years' experience within the SPAR franchise.
