SPORTS chiefs have made a splash on the jobs front.
Renfrewshire Leisure which was launched by local council chiefs in 2003 to run sports centres and swimming pools in Paisley and the surrounding area has created around 120 new jobs.
It was praised by council leader Mark Macmillan with the management trust's chief executive Joyce McKellar pledging to create more posts.
