The £104 million blueprint for the city-centre transport hub will be on display from tomorrow for two-days.

Residents, users and local business are being urged to visit the exhibition to ask questions and voice their opinions to developers.

Rail bosses have come under fire after it was revealed that parts of the station would close during renovation works on a main tunnel.

Many local firms were outraged with the news which they said would decrease traffic to the area and directly hit their profits.

The large-scale project will see longer platforms, a replacement front entrance, hotel extension and more floor space introduced at the station.

It also aims to expand the capacity of the transport hub increasing passengers by 8 million, to 28 million by 2030.

The plans will be on show the Millennium Hotel in George Square from 4pm to 7pm tomorrow and Wednesday.

David Dickson, Network Rail's acting route managing director for Scotland, said: "We want to hear what you think of this exciting new vision for the future Queen Street.

"The new-look Queen Street will greatly enhance the city centre and we want the public to help inform the final design of a station that will serve their needs for years to come."
