TWO City of Glasgow College students are aiming to prove they are top in their trade as they battle for a place in the United Kingdom team for Worldskills 2015 in Brazil's Sao Paulo.
Daryll Dailly, one of the college's finest wall and floor tiling students, and Mikaela Wright, a patisserie prodigy, are aiming for inclusion in a final training squad in Belfast.
Mikaela, 20, from Orkney, works part-time at Glasgow's famous Rogano seafood and oyster restaurant while she completes her HND in Professional Cookery at City of Glasgow College.
Daryll, from Bridge of Weir, is in the third year of an apprenticeship at DNA Tiling in Paisley and is combining employment with a college qualification.
He has previously achieved regional recognition, winning a Worldskills tiling competition in Arbroath and coming second in the 'nationals' at Birmingham.
Now he is hoping to impress judges at an even higher level.
