SUPERMARKET Asda in Parkhead has made a festive food donation to support The Salvation Army.
Kind hearted colleagues presented The Salvation Army in Parkhead with jam-packed Christmas hampers full of Asda's Extra Special range including mince pies, Christmas pudding and other festive treats, as well as crackers and small gifts for patrons to enjoy over the festive season.
John Flannigan, Community Life Champion at Asda Parkhead, said: "We wanted to acknowledge the amazing work of The Salvation Army in the local community and spread some festive cheer by helping to make someone else's Christmas that little bit better."
Linda Dunlop, Captain at The Salvation Army Parkhead, added: "Our patrons are so grateful for the generous donation made by the store - it certainly put a smile on everyone's face - and we're looking forward to enjoying our festive goodies over the Christmas period."
