A TEAM from a Glasgow surveyors will pound the city streets this weekend to raise cash for a cancer charity.
Eleven members of staff from Graham and Sibbald are to pull on their trainers for the Teenage Cancer Trust when they take part in the Great Scottish Run.
The group chose the charity because colleague Sylvia McInally's son has been battling cancer since he was 15-years-old.
Ben McInally, now 17, has been supported by the Teenage Cancer Trust since he was diagnosed with a tumour in his pelvic bone.
The family, from Summerston, are "delighted" the firm has choosen to support the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The money raised will help fund specialist care for teenagers and young people with cancer.
Lesley Goodfellow, who is taking part in the challenge, said: "We wanted to take part in the Great Scottish Run and it made sense to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
"It is a really worthwhile cause."
Team members will take on either the half marathon event or the 10k.
