A HOSPITAL ward has been closed to new admissions due to suspected norovirus.
Ward 20 of Monklands Hospital in Airdrie was closed after some patients experienced symptoms of the vomiting bug.
NHS Lanarkshire said patients are being closely monitored for developing symptoms.
