THE husband of radio star Suzie McGuire was released without charge after being arrested for allegedly breaching his bail conditions.
Derek Mitchell, 34, was due to appear Paisley Sheriff Court yesterday but was released prior to any appearance. His lawyer Stephen Bentley said: "It is expected that it is now the end of the matter."
Mitchell appeared at the court on October 28, for allegedly assaulting his wife on four occasions betwen December 24, 2009 and December 9, 2011.
He is accused of assaulting her on December 24, 2009 at the NCP car park on Mitchell Street, Glasgow, on May 21, 2011 on a street in Eaglesham, and on September 30, 2011 at Mar Hall in Bishopton.
