TEACHERS staged a demonstration in Glasgow against cutbacks in further education.
Hundreds of EIS members marched to a rally at the Royal Concert Hall on Saturday calling for Government action over the loss of jobs and student places.
The union said student numbers had dropped by 42,000 at a time of record youth unemployment.
It claims the past two years have seen funding cuts of 20% to college budgets.
