A team from a customer contact centre has raised more than £1000 for charity in just four weeks
The 11 Response staff are to pull on their trainers for the Yorkhill Children’s Foundation when they take part in the Great Scottish Run on September 5.
Seven are taking on the half marathon event and four running the 10K. The money raised will help buy equipment used to diagnose epilepsy – the firm hopes to raise £20,000 in 12 months for the charity.
Team leader Alan Dickie said: “There is a sense they want to make a real difference for this worthwhile cause.”
