VISITORS to Glasgow might be think they are in a different city.

Tennent's, with tongue firmly in cheek, has changed the names of the streets around the Hydro.

Scotland's favourite lager is renaming some of the city's busiest thoroughfares and most popular bars in honour of some of the musical acts taking the SSE Hydro stage on Sunday night.

The wordsmiths at Wellpark Brewery have created a musical map of Glasgow - with every road offering the chance for a laugh.

Kanye West Regent Street and Argyll Arcade Fire are amongst the routes given a musical make-over, and pubs have been given a lyrical twist too.

JustinTimberLock 27, B.O.B.ar, and the Linkin Park Bar have made it on to the map.

It is just part of a series of fun takes that Tennent's has prepared to celebrate this weekend's event.

Jane Cannon, spokeswoman for Tennent's Lager, said: "Tennent's has such a strong association with music in Scotland that, given so many big names are in Glasgow this weekend, we thought we'd have a little fun.

"We've started a map that we hope Tennent's Lager fans will contribute to. The city is Scotland's capital for music and comedy so I'm sure the public will come up with a few great puns themselves."
