Third of Scots unsure over independence vote

ALMOST a third of Scots still do not know how they will vote in the independence referendum, as the Yes campaign continues to trail behind the No camp, a new poll shows.

A TNS survey reveals 42% of people intend to vote No, while 28% will say Yes, and 30% do not know.

The results reflect no significant change in voting intentions compared with the last TNS poll on the issue in January.

The gap between Yes and No does not change when the responses of only those who say they are certain to vote in the September ballot are considered.

TNS questioned 1019 adults aged over 16.
