The ex-Glasgow Warriors winger is said to have left their London home last week after dating the 33-year-old model for two years.
The news comes as former Scotland striker Frank McAvennie revealed he had split up from his second wife.
Frank, 53, who used to play for Celtic, said he and Karen, had separated after 12 years because "we've grown apart".
He lived with the restaurant boss, also 53, in Newcastle. Frank said no one else was involved. He added: "The love is gone – it's time to come home."
