A DANGEROUS convict on the run from cops has celebrated his first birthday outside prison for more than a decade.
Jonathan Kelly, 34, who had convictions for crimes of violence, has been missing for around a week. He was freed from Low Moss Prison, Bishopbriggs, last month but has gone to ground after his prison licence was revoked.
Patrols have been stepped up in the Drumchapel area of Glasgow to try to find him.
There are also fears he may rob to get money.
Officers had believed Kelly, of Carolside Drive, may celebrate his first 'free' birthday for around 15 years.
