A PAISLEY-based scientist has become a member of the prestigious Royal Society of Edinburgh's Young Academy of Scotland.
Dr Stuart Reid of West of Scotland University was chosen because of his renowned leadership in the development of precision measurement techniques used in astrophysics, cell biology and medicine.
He heads a university research group which is searching for gravitation waves predicted by Albert Einstein.
