Two pilots have reportedly been arrested at Glasgow Airport for being drunk.
Police were called to the airport yesterday after the pair allegedly attempted to board their flight to New York while apparently under the influence.
The Sunday Mail reports the United Airlines flight UA162 to Newark was grounded after they were detained.
It's understood the pair are being held at a police station in Govan.
A source told the paper: "Concerns were raised and police were called.
"There was a fair police presence as it’s a sensitive and highly secure part of airport.
"Staff are subject to intensive and thorough security procedures in just the same way as passengers. No chances are taken nowadays."
The pair are due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court tomorrow.
Last month two Canadian pilots were charged with being drunk as they prepared to fly a passenger jet from Scotland to Toronto.
