Drunk Brits are getting sick tattoos of missing youngster Madeleine McCann while on holiday, it has emerged.
One image to have surfaced online in the past week shows a Glasgow man with “I stole Madeleine McCann” inked into his skin after he visited Portugal.
The mechanic boasted: “What happens in Portugal, stays in Portugal.”
He also told another pal: “Best thing I’ve ever got.”
It is now ten years since three-year-old Madeleine disappeared in the Algarve region of Portugal.
The Daily Star spoke with workers in tattoo parlours along the Magaluf strip who revealed the extent to which boozed-up Britons’ requests go .
One worker said: “We get loads of crazy Brits in here asking for all sorts of tatts.
“We’ll do whatever they want, even if it’s offensive. Some people might say it’s a bit sick, but it’s not going on our bodies and it’s the person’s decision.”
