The husband Kirsty Maxwell has issued a public plea to help track down an unidentified witness who was staying on the same floor as his wife.

Kirsty, 28, died after falling from the 10th floor of an apartment block while on a hen do in Benidorm in April.

She travelled with 34 friends just weeks after marrying her boyfriend Adam.

He has now issued a public appeal to help trace a woman who was staying on the same floor in Kirsty's hotel and may have witnessed the event.

He told The Sun: "This woman has been identified as a witness and we’re asking her to come forward with information — we don’t know her name."

“We also have been given hotel room numbers and we are desperate to speak to some of the people who stayed in these rooms."

“It’s shocking we have had to find out this information for ourselves. This is our reality now."

A post has appeared on the Kirsty Maxwell Information Appeal Facebook page highlighting the urgency to locate the mysterious witness.

It reads: "This police told Kirsty's family they do not have details of this woman who was on the 10th floor of My Pretty Payma / Apartmentos Payma, Benidorm, Spain during the period Kirsty died."

"She was assessed not to be important and no statement / declaration was obtained from her, she is described as NOT English or Spanish."

"This woman is a potential witness and may be able to help Kirsty's family find out the truth about her death. IF YOU ARE THIS WOMAN OR HAVE ANY INFORMATION ABOUT HER PLEASE CONTACT US CONFIDENTIALY ON info@kirstymaxwell.com".

Brits Callum Northridge, 27, Ricky Gammon, 31, Daniel Bailey, 32, and 34-year-old Anthony Holehouse all denied any involvement in Kirsty's death.

In July they released a joint statement and said: "This was a tragic accident and we categorically deny any involvement in this unfortunate incident.

"It goes without saying that our deepest sympathy goes out to Kirsty's family and our thoughts are with them all at this terrible time."
