SCOTLAND and Newcastle United winger Matt Ritchie sold more shirts than the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar this summer, according to Sports Direct.
The retailer has revealed the top-selling shirts from its range over the summer, with Ritchie coming in surprisingly high at 13th place - two spots above Real Madrid superstar Ronaldo.
Sports Direct sponsors Newcastle's St James' Park stadium, where Ritchie helped the Magpies win promotion to the Premier League last season by scoring 12 league goals.
Manchester United dominate the list with three players in the top five, including table-topper Paul Pogba.
Lionel Messi is the highest ranked non-Premier League player at number eight, with Ronaldo at number 15 and world record signing Neymar of PSG at number 18.
There is also space for Ritchie's Newcastle teammate Dwight Gayle in the top 20.
