Glasgow will soon be seeing double as twin acting stars Gary and Larry Lane head to the city for the UK premiere of cult smash movie From Hollywood To Dollywood.

The Lane twins, who starred in the films Zoolander, Spider-man and The Patriot, used cash they won on TV quiz show Wipeout to make their movie.

And now the tale, which tells of their roadtrip to meet Dolly Parton, is to be shown at Glasgow Caledonian University.

Gary said: "We are so excited to be coming to Glasgow for our UK premiere.

"We know Dolly is loved in Scotland after her recent tour sold out in Glasgow, and we hope that after the premiere, people will love her for a whole new reason.

The movie, which is being screened on October 20 as part of the annual Glasgay! event, has already won a host of plaudits, including the Audience Choice Award for Best Documentary and the Directors Choice Award at the Sacramento Music and Film Festival.

From Hollywood To Dollywood follows Gary and Larry as they embark on a cross-country journey to meet the superstar country singer, driving a camper van named Jolene.

After the film's screening, the brothers will join the audience to take part in a debate about sex and gender.
