TWO men are due to appear in court today after a police officer was allegedly stabbed in a city street.
The policeman was rushed to hospital after the incident, which took place while he was attending a disturbance in Govan.
A 38-year-old man and 49-year-old man have been arrested in connection with the incident.
Both are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court later today.
The officer was treated for leg injuries following the incident in Hutton Drive, Govan, yesterday afternoon.
His injuries were not life threatening.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Two men, aged 38 and 49, have been arrested and are currently detained in police custody in connection with the incident."
