TWO people were taken to hospital following a kitchen fire in a Glasgow flat.
The man and woman suffered the effects of smoke inhalation after a fire in the kitchen of their home in Summerston's Torrin Road at 10.40pm on Sunday. They were taken to the Western Infirmary.
Maryhill Station Commander, John McKenna, said: "Firefighters in breathing apparatus quickly extinguished a small fire within the kitchen and requested an ambulance attend so the occupants could be assessed by paramedics.
"A man and a woman had sustained slight smoke inhalation."
