FORMER Rangers chief Charles Green has entered the world of horse racing - with a nag called Ibrox.
The 61-year-old moved to France after leaving the club in controversial circumstances last year and banked almost £1million from the Light Blues.
He is listed as the owner and breeder of two-year-old horse Ibrox, which made its racecourse debut in the 4.55 at Pornichet-la baule, a course in the south of France, yesterday.
It was to prove a disappointing day for Green and jockey Antoine Hamelin, who sported green and pink silks, however.
The Eoghan O'Neill-trained runner came home eighth in the one-mile Prix Du Grand Charpentier maiden.
Ibrox went off a 28-1 shot but never came close to landing the £6666 prize for first place as it finished in the middle of the pack in a 15-runner race.
