A MAN has been arrested following the alleged rape of a teenage girl.
The 18-year-old is said to have been attacked as she walked home from a night out in Irvine, North Ayrshire, on Saturday.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said today: "A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with this incident."
It is thought the man will appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court tomorrow.
