The 70-year-old attended a screening of A Single Shot at the Tribeca Film & The Cinema Society in New York on Thursday, September 19.
Earlier this week it emerged that the comedian, affectionately known as The Big Yin, had undergone surgery for prostate cancer and was receiving treatment for the 'initial symptoms' of Parkinson's disease. A spokesperson for the star confirmed that the surgery had been a 'total success'.
The Scot has vowed to continue performing despite undergoing surgery.
He will appear in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug later this year before undertaking an extensive theatrical tour of New Zealand in 2014.
