POLICE recovered a body from the River Clyde in Glasgow this morning.
Uniformed officers and detectives were called to the Broomlielaw area at 10.05am.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland confirmed that a body has been recovered.
The dead person has not been identified and it is not yet known if they are male or female.
Police say enquiries are ongoing.
