Paisley Museum will host an exhibition about St Mirren Football Club this summer, and is looking to you, the fans, to help out with tales of your experiences of following Paisley's premier football team.

The exhibition, titled Back of the Net, will take a fans view of the club, bringing together stories, photographs and even memorabilia, to illustrate the bonds that tie a diverse group of people together through their collective experience of supporting St Mirren FC.

John Pressly, Science Curator at Paisley Museum and lead officer for Back of the Net said: "We aim to record a spectrum of fans' experiences: the highs, the lows, the memorable days, even the days you would rather forget. Back of the Net will bring these tales together and, coupled with photographs of the team and fans throughout the years, will create an exhibition which tells the history of St Mirren as seen through the eyes of their supporters."

What does supporting the Saints mean to you? What memories do you have of going to Love Street on match day? Did you witness the Anglo-Scottish cup win or follow the open top bus as the team paraded the Scottish Cup trophy in 1987? Perhaps you have had your picture taken with former players or the Buddies' mascot Paisley Panda?

If you have any stories, pictures or objects and are willing to share these as part of the forthcoming exhibition, then get in touch with John Pressly at Paisley Museum or Carol Craig at Paisley Central Library. Items can be sent in by e-mail, post or alternatively you can call and make an appointment to come in for a chat.
