Calvin Harris to play Glasgow's Big Weekend

In-demand DJ Calvin Harris will wow the crowds at Radio 1's Big Weekend in Glasgow this month.

It has just been announced the DJ will perform at the Saturday event in the Glasgow Green on May 24.

The Scottish DJ and Producer will play on the main stage ahead of Coldplay, who headline the Saturday night. 

He said: “I would feel really left out to not be there, so I’m WELL excited!”

Joining Calvin Harris and headliners, Coldplay, to perform on the Main Stage on Saturday, May 24, are One Direction, Bastille, Pharrell, Jake Bugg, Lily Allen and Ed Sheeran.

Kings of Leon, The Vamps, John Newman, Rita Ora, The 1975, Tinie Tempah and Paolo Nutini will all perform on the Main Stage on Sunday, May 25, ahead of Katy Perry’s headline performance.

The In New Music We Trust Stage on Saturday 24th May is headlined by Example with Clean Bandit, Lorde, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Kooks, Katy B, Twin Atlantic and Wilkinson also on the bill.

On Sunday 25th May, Sub Focus, You Me at Six, London Grammar, Klaxons, Sam Smith, Gorgon City and CHVRCHES will all perform ahead of the headliners, Kasabian.
