Fire breaks out in Barmulloch home
FIREFIGHTERS worked overnight to tackle a blaze in a Glasgow home.
Around 18 firefighters were at the scene in Ryehill Road, Barmulloch, in the north east of the city.
Emergency services were alerted to the fire on Wednesday shortly before midnight.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokesman said the fire had started in the roof space of a cottage flat.
He said nobody was in the property at the time and no evacuations had to be carried out.
Firefighters were still in attendance on Thursday morning.
