FIREFIGHTERS rescued a woman who was trapped in her car after a road crash.
The woman suffered "significant" injuries in the collision, which happened around 12.30pm yesterday in the South Side of Glasgow.
The crash occurred at the roundabout at the junction of Barrhead Road and Pollokshaws Road.
Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to free her.
The woman was then taken to the Victoria Infirmary.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said she had "significant injuries".
Station Commander Eddie Finnieston said: "The specialist rescue skills of crews from Pollok and Clarkston were essential."
