Emergency services rushed to extinguish a fire in Glasgow's South Side on Tuesday morning.

Fire crews, police and ambulance crews were alerted about 6.15am, when the blaze started in Pollokshaws Road.

Firefighters brought the flames under control in less than an hour. No one needed to be rescued.

A spokeswoman for Scottish Fire and Rescue, said: "Three crews were called to the commercial property.

"The fire was quickly brought under control and nobody was injured."

Investigations will be carried out into the blaze.
