A nursery has been badly damaged in a fire.
Around 25 firefighters tacked the overnight blaze at Mossvale Nursery in Paisley, Renfrewshire.
The alarm was raised was raised just before 2am, with crews bringing the fire under control at around 4.30am.
The cause of the blaze at the Fullerton Street premises is not known.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Our firefighters were faced with a challenging fire within the nursery and their priority was to save as much of the building as possible.
"Through the efforts of the firefighters the fire was successfully contained to one half of the nursery.
"Firefighters using a thermal image camera were able to check the building for hidden fire travel and effectively extinguish hotspots."
Parents of children who attend the nursery have been advised to contact Renfrewshire Council for information.
