POLICE have recovered two guns just streets away from a Glasgow school.
They made the discovery as part of an ongoing investigation into allegations of serious and organised crime.
Officers carried out a search of undergrowth near to Branklyn Court, near to Knightswood Secondary, and recovered the weapons at around 4.30pm on Tuesday.
Specialist search officers have been carrying out a further search of the area today and inquiries are continuing.
There is no indication of the type of firearms recovered.
