FIREFIGHTERS have tackled a blaze at Greenock Ocean Terminal.
About 10 firefighters rushed to the dock in Inverclyde after the acetylene cylinder fire started at a work bay at around 8.45pm on Sunday.
An exclusion zone was put in place as a safety measure, and later lifted.
Thick smoke was seen billowing out as the fire intensified into the night.
Road closures around the area were put in place as teams worked to put out the blaze.
A spokesman from Scottish Fire and Rescue said the incident was still "ongoing" on Monday morning but the fire was under control.
He said: "Firefighters are still in attendance."
The dock is owned by Clydeport.
