Jamaican music legend Grace Jones will play to a crowd of 35,000 people at the city's iconic music festival in Bellahouston Park on August 29.
Jones has a career spanning four decades in the music industry - with a string of hits that include 'Pull Up to the Bumper' and 'Slave to the Rhythm.'
Calvin Harris, Ellie Goulding and John Newman will also be gracing the stage at the festival the following day - and the event itself is expected to draw in around 70,000 people over the weekend.
Geoff Ellis, CEO of DF Concerts & Events said: "Grace Jones is an international music icon; her career has spanned over 4 decades, 10 albums, multiple hits and collaborations with some of the world's biggest stars. It's going to be one hell of a live show at Glasgow Summer Sessions."
Last year's Glasgow Summer Sessions saw US superstar The Killers, and DJs David Guetta and Steve Angello perform to over 70,000 people at Glasgow's Bellahouston Park across two dates. The events attracted thousands of visitors to the city and provided a massive boost to the local economy.
