POLICE searching for a missing man from Glasgow’s South Side have found a body.
Police believe the body of a man recovered from the River Cart near Cathcart is that of Bryan Carroll.
Mr Carroll, 40, was reported missing on Saturday morning when his family woke to find him gone.
He had last been seen at 2.30am on Saturday at his home on Strathyre Street in Shawlands.
Police had said it was out of character for Mr Carroll, who suffered from epilepsy, to go missing.
The body was discovered at 12.15pm on Sunday.
Formal identification of the body is still to take place and a post mortem will be carried out to establish the exact cause of death.
Police said at this time there would not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.
