An invigilator has died after taking ill during a school exam.
The incident happened during a maths exam at Harlaw Academy in Aberdeen.
Authorities said a 999 call had been received at about 9.25am on Tuesday for a medical emergency.
Two ambulances were sent and a man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, where he later died.
Gayle Gorman, director of education and children's services at Aberdeen City Council , said: "We were saddened to hear about this incident at Harlaw Academy on Tuesday and our thoughts are with the family at this difficult time."
